Final Week, Soulless Campaign!

Well, it’s here. Only seven days left to the conclusion of my very first Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds for The Slayer Saga: Soulless. It’s been a bumpy ride, especially since a good portion of the time period was spent without a computer, so I lost a lot of promotional time, but that means I’ll just have to come out swinging now. Please, check it out, share it on your blogs, spread the word.

I’m even offering a special bonus to fellow writers. If you share or reblog this on your own blog, Facebook, Twitter, whatever, , leave a link here in this post, and you’ll be entered for a drawing to have a page advertising your own works included in the back of Soulless. Remember how books used to have pages in the back where the publisher would advertise other works? I notice them particularly in science fiction and fantasy, and, basically, you’ll have a page talking about you as an author and your publications. That’s part of the $50 donation package right there, and I might even pick two (depending on if I get any backers for that package).

As an incentive, I’ve updated the Featured Story to give a little sampling of the Prologue. Like what you read? It’s just the beginning of the Slayer of the Soulless’s saga, which will span three books to make an exciting trilogy of zombies in a heartless, apocalyptic world where only the fearless survive.

Soulless has been a pretty interesting journey for me. I can’t even remember how it started (probably as a NaNNoWriMo project), but it was thrilling when I decided to buckle down and finish it and managed to do so within a few months. The drive and determination turned this from just a fun idea to a book I’m growing more confident in by the minute. Is it my best work? No, probably not. But it is still a solid endeavor that will hopefully be symbolic of my creative work and inspire readers and build some fans.

Please consider contributing and spreading the word! The book will be arriving in August regardless of whether we make it, but a little extra help never hurts.

Happy writing!
