Promotion Friday!

Happy Friday, everyone! Friday can mean a lot of things…payday for some, end of the work week, FNL and pizza nights and new episodes of Comedy Bang Bang. But around here, it also means shameless promotions! Come on in and spread the love about what you’re working on, what you’ve been reading, what you’ve published, or what you find really, really awesome and worth a share. Last week, I shared some writing contests that were closing soon….by now, they’ve definitely closed, and I don’t have many contests currently on my radar, except maybe the Kore Press Short Fiction Award for “female-identified individuals”, which closes on Valentine’s Day.

So this week, I wanted to talk indie books in particular. Of course, there’s Skylights by Luther M. Siler to check out. I just finished it earlier this week, and it’s a solid, fairly light read about a mission to Mars. We’ve just missed his 99 cent promotion for the book, but it’s still under two bucks and totally worth it.

With Skylights finished, I’ve moved on to Fire Wizard by Lauralynn Elliott, which I’m really enjoying so far.

After that, I don’t know what will be next on my Kindle. What indie authors have you been really digging lately? Who do you feel deserves more attention? What indie books are you reading and what would you recommend?

Of course, it’s Promotion Friday, so if there’s something else you want to tout even if it’s not an indie book, go for it! What delicious things do you have to share today?

  1. I’m biting my nails here. I’m glad you said you’re enjoying Fire Wizard so far. You and I are so diverse in what we like, it scares me for you to read one of my books. LOL. Although, I really enjoyed Soulless, so we aren’t so far apart all the time. 🙂 I also enjoyed your story in WUR.

By the way, if it looks like my review disappeared from Soulless on Amazon, it’s just because I changed my public name for reviews.
